Dr. Simone Lewis received her Bachelor of Optometry degree from The Rand Afrikaans University (RAU) Johannesburg, South Africa. She earned the distinction of being valedictorian of the graduating class of 1992. She completed the Advanced Standing International Program at the New England College of Optometry in 1996, where she received her Doctorate of Optometry.
Before graduating from RAU, Dr. Lewis volunteered her services at the Taung Hospital in South Africa, providing optometric care to underprivileged residents of rural townships. She has lived in Atlanta for over 17 years and has enjoyed practicing primary care optometry. Dr. Lewis’ areas of expertise include pediatrics and ocular disease.
When not caring for her loyal patients, Dr. Lewis enjoys spending time with her husband, Daniel, and three children. She also loves to travel, exercise, and reading a good book.
